Personal data that we process:
Thuiswerkplek.nl acquires your personal data from the client within the context of the services it provides to the client. Thuiswerkplek.nl furthermore processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself.

An overview of the personal data we process is provided below:
  • First name and surname;
  • Address details;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number (optional);
  • At which employer you are employed;
  • Details concerning the content and progress of your order;
  • Your browse and click behaviour on the website (see cookie statement)

Processing purposes and grounds
The purpose and grounds for our processing of personal data. Thuiswerkplek.nl processes your personal data for the following purposes:
  • to facilitate a home office;
  • to handle your order;
  • to implement arrangements with respect to your order;
  • in order to be able to call or email you if this is necessary in order to be able to provide our services;
  • to offer the option of creating an account for the purpose of delivering goods and services to you;
  • to carry out the delivery of your order;
  • Optional: to draw up anonymous reports/analyses at the employer’s request

The GDPR contains 6 legally valid grounds for processing personal data.

Thuiswerkplek.nl processes these personal data in implementation of the direct relationship in respect of the order you have placed. Thuiswerkplek.nl also processes these personal data because it has a legitimate interest in doing so, such as:
  • Being able to facilitate home offices for employees;
  • The provision of the services to the client
  • Offering efficient and customer-friendly services;
  • Improving the services;
  • Protecting its financial interests;
  • Being able to provide information concerning its services and the progress of your order.

In the event Thuiswerkplek.nl bases its processing on consent, it will request such consent separately. Consent may be granted by means of free, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of intent. Consent must be explicit. You give explicit consent by confirming this policy and entering the requested data. Consent may also be withdrawn. This must be as easy as granting consent. In the case of a current contract, the data obviously cannot be deleted.

Retention period of your personal data:
Thuiswerkplek.nl does not retain your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which your data are collected and in order to comply with the statutory retention obligations.

Sharing personal data with third parties:
Thuiswerkplek.nl does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide them to third parties if this is necessary to implement our agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation or a court order. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure a uniform level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Thuiswerkplek.nl has the right to provide your personal data to Derksen Verhuizingen B.V. This party carries out the logistical handling of your order for a home office. This includes matters such as readying your order with a packing slip accompanying your order and address details or contacting you regarding the delivery.

Cookies or similar technology used by us:
Thuiswerkplek.nl only uses cookies for functional purposes.

Access, rectification or erasure:
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send your personal data that we possess in a computer file to you or another organisation stipulated by you.

If you wish to exercise the above-mentioned rights or if you have other questions/comments about the data processing, send a specified request to g.vandee@thuiswerkplek.nl.

In order to be sure that you are the person requesting access, we ask you to submit the request from the email address from which the order for a home office was placed including the email of the order placed as an attachment. Thuiswerkplek.nl will respond to your request as soon as possible, but always within four weeks. Thuiswerkplek.nl also wishes to draw your attention to the option to lodge a complaint with the national regulatory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
